Cross-Cultural Lacrosse
USC Women’s Lacrosse hosted Keio University of Japan to kick off their 2024 preseason campaign this fall at Allyson Felix Field. Shooting the game for the Daily Trojan, I was tasked with capturing the cultural exchange that took place between the two teams. My aim was not to capture lacrosse, but to tell a story of new friendship. During the game players took moments of rest to chat and share a smile, demonstrating the transcendence of sport over cultural divides and making my job quite easy. I hope to witness more moments like these through a career in photojournalism!
